Sarah Rosenkrantz, originally from New London, Connecticut, left her childhood home at the age of 15 to pursue a life as an artist in California. As an actress, dancer and musician she wanted to explore the world and see the many cultures and people that inhabit it. 

 

Sarah starred in her first independent film, Sister Sarah's Sky, (brightbluegorilla.com) at the age of 15, and has since collaborated BBG and been in more of their films. She toured with musician/filmmakers through Europe and India as the opening act, strumming her guitar and singing songs to make people smile. 

 

While living in Berlin, Germany in 2008/2009, Sarah recorded her first album, Chocolate Cake & Buttercups. In Germany, she studied modern and contemporary dance styles, and co-choreographed a piece that was presented at the Tanz Fabrik, Berlin.

 

From Berlin, she spent time in Brazil, where she continued to study dance, choreograph, act and direct theater productions. In Brazil, Sarah begain to play wtih a camera and filmed her first dance films. 

 

After her time abroad, Sarah was inspired to return to Los Angeles, where she currently resides. She continues to make dance films, short sketch comedies and everything in between. As a filmmaker, editor, writer, musician, actress and dancer, Sarah loves to share her art, a gaze into the quirky world in which we live.

 

Sarah is now working on her first feature, All is Forgiven, and will be recording a compilation album as well.
